Welcome aboard the Red sea’s most luxurious yacht, for an exclusive kitesurfing cruise. Spend an unforgettable adventure and discover new pristine kite spots in Egypt that can only be reached by boat. Hurghada is home to world-class kiteboarding sites famous for ideal wind conditions and warm waters. The season extends from May to October with an average steady wind around 20 – 25 knots and wind gusts getting up to 30 – 35 knots. Our 7 days kiteboarding trips run throughout the season and cover four of the best kitesurfing locations. Tawila, Geisum, Ashrafi, and Heitman islands, every day we anchor near a new kitesurfing spot. Onboard, you will enjoy a high-standard stay.  The yacht also has 3 sundecks, an outdoor lounge, an indoor lounge with large sofas, a buffet area, and a bar. A crew of 12 highly trained persons including two master chefs will fulfill all of your needs and ensure safety on board. From early morning yoga, freshly prepared meals, drinks on the deck, and sharing the moment with passionate kiters, this adventure includes much more than just kiting!

Day 1:

Welcome to Egypt, if you arrive on day 1 at Hurghada International Airport, the Wake Up Adventures guides will have already arranged for your transfer from the airport to the yacht. If you are already in El Gouna or Hurghada, your transfer must be arranged in advance. The Hurghada port is located a 20 min drive from Hurghada Airport. On our first day onboard, you meet the crew and get comfortable aboard your yacht. Check-in to your double occupancy room and settle in before meeting your fellow kiters around a welcome drink. While we enjoy a selection of snacks and good music, we will do a group briefing about safety on board and our 7-days trip in general.

Day 2

Get ready for your first day into the open sea as we leave the marina at sunrise and we sail to Tawila, approximately three hours away from Hurghada. On the way to our first kitesurfing spot, Join us on deck for a stimulating yoga session or simply enjoy the view and the sun. Then refill your energy with a freshly prepared breakfast buffet and get ready for your first day of kiteboarding. Two zodiac boats will be available to get you to the island. If you want a break, the boats will be available to get you back on board just in time for lunch. Head back to the island for another kitesurfing session or enjoy your favorite sunset cocktail while the master chefs are preparing dinner.

Day 3

Early in the morning we raise anchors and move to our next kiteboarding paradise; Geisum Island. This island offers side-shore and offshore conditions. Perfect for the kite surfers who are looking for more challenging winds. Throughout the trip, you can also take advantage of our snorkeling and foiling equipment and paddles to explore the area or simply enjoy relaxing, listening to music, reading, sunbathing, and making new friends.

Day 4

Another day, another Island. Our next stop will be at one of the most extreme kiteboarding spots; the Ashrafi islands. Prepare yourself for a 5 km upwind kite ride guided by the small boats and the rescue team for safety. When you think it’s over, it’s just the beginning, another downwind ride between the magical islands is a must! You will also have the chance to explore the beautiful lagoons full of exotic birds. In the evening, we will watch the mesmerizing sunset and gather around refreshing drinks and fun games with the crew.

Day 5

After breakfast, an incredible adventure is waiting for you. This 20 km downwind ride challenge is for the kite surfers who want to push the limits! Riders will be followed by the two zodiac boats and our rescue team and will reach Geisum Island. This will be your chance to enjoy the beautiful lagoons of this island again and explore the ones that you’ve missed.

Day 6

A ritual breakfast in the morning, and then we head back to Tawila island, one of the most emblematic spots in the area, where we will spend another day doing kitesurf, surrounded by friends.

Day 7

Early in the morning, we will reach our last spot for this trip: Heitman island. This will be your last session in this kitesurfing paradise before we head back to Hurghada. We will reach Hurghada marina by sunset where you’ll get your kitesurfing Gear cleaned and packed. Then get ready for the last grand celebration at one of Hurghada’s most popular beach nightclubs. We will sleep one last night on the boat at the marina.

Day 8

Even though it is our last day, we can still make the most of it! We can kiteboard in Hurghada or just relax at the beach till it’s time to leave. We say goodbye for now, but don’t worry, we are already preparing for our next adventure together !!

  • What can I expect on this expedition?

    Experience the best kitesurfing Egypt has to offer.  Explore uninhabited remote Egyptian islands and kitesurf on them. Guided downwind from island to island in the stunning red sea. Enjoy a culinary experience with the meals prepared on the yacht by our incredible chefs. Please note that the selected kite spots and the itinerary may vary depending on the wind and weather conditions.

     

  • Can I join this tour as a kitesurf beginner?

    The tour is aimed at riders with at least an intermediate level and with experience and skills that must include the ability to ride upwind. for further questions regarding your skill level contact us and our experts will guide you.

  • What equipment is required to bring to the downwind?

    It is vital to bring three kites in good condition in a golf bag. The kite sizes should range between 6 to 12 meters. Maximum two boards per rider, (we recommend a twin-tip and a surfboard).

    It is also vital to bring two bars that match the kite you are using and a harness that is in good condition. We also recommend bringing a comfortable life jacket as well.

  • Should I purchase travel protection and insurance?

  • If I book a tour, is it guaranteed to run?

    Most of our trips are guaranteed to run with just six people booked on a tour. An additional supplement may be required to run the tour if the minimum number of guests is not met. Our tour Coordinators will be in touch in case such a situation arises. For more information please talk to your tour coordinator.

  • Are non-kiters welcome on Kite trips?

    Of course! Travelers with companions who prefer not to kite can still experience our favorite destinations in Wake Up style. The price of our tours typically includes accommodation, meals, and activities beyond kiting; our price per person is the same for kiters and non-kiters.

    Our tours are priced based on double occupancy. A Single Supplement is an additional charge that secures a private room for solo travelers. In case of double occupancy, Wake Up will match people by family or relationship first and then by gender.
