OUR TRAVELICIOUS STORY

Hi there! My name is Bader Lardhi and I’m an Emirati Geologist. I am also the co-founder of Wake Up Adventures together with my friend Ivan Castillo, an expert Uruguayan kite surfer. Wake Up Adventures was established in 2017 but you could say that our journey started many years before that.

So how did we end up here working together?
Let me tell you how!
Ivan and I are like Yin and Yang, right and left, ketchup and mustard, he grew up in the Uruguayan prairies while I grew up in the Emirati desert.  I became a geologist out of my love for the outdoors and the interest of exploring the magical wonders of our fascinating planet. Ivan got his first surfboard as a young boy, at that moment he knew what he was meant to do and has 15 years of experience in luxury tourism.
One could argue that our dreams were born many years ago but the universe wasn’t ready for us. Until recently, we’re finally here, and we’re ready to share our adventures with the world. We can guarantee that this combination of Emirati hospitality and Uruguayan warmth will make each tour distinctly unique and extremely fun.
Most importantly, we will make sure you don’t miss out on your next big adventure.
