Day 1: Touchdown in Caracas & Off to Los Roques

What’s up, legends? You’ve just hit Caracas, and the energy’s already pumping. A quick flight, and you’re straight into the dream – Los Roques, the mecca of kite spots. Check in at Posada La Terraca, your chill basecamp, and let’s kick things off with a killer welcome dinner and all the juicy deets for the week ahead. The adventure is ON.

Day 2: Let’s Ride! Island Hopping & First Kite Session

Rise and shine, crew! Start your day with some smooth yoga to get the blood flowing, then crush a bomb breakfast to fuel up. We’re hitting the water hard today – first stop: kite paradise. After a sick coaching session to dial in your moves, it’s time for a beachside lunch and non-stop shredding. Wrap it up with good vibes and a chill dinner back at the posada.

Day 3: Tricks, Waves, and Stoke

Another day, another epic session! Stretch it out with a solid morning yoga sesh, then we’re off for a fresh coaching ride. Today’s all about leveling up – new tricks, clean moves, and the kind of stoke that fuels your soul. After a freestyle blast, we’ll kick back and run a video breakdown at dinner to review the magic. You’re getting better every day, no doubt.

Day 4: Explore, Shred, Repeat

Rise and flow with morning yoga, followed by breakfast and we’re back out there! Today’s all about chasing that perfect island – flat water, steady wind, and enough stoke to last a lifetime. Group coaching? Oh yeah. Endless kiting? You bet. Finish the day with a laid-back dinner, and leave with a grin that won’t quit.

Day 5: Full-Day Adventure – All In, All Day

Time to go full throttle. We start with yoga to get limber, then it’s a mission to the wild corners of Los Roques. Remote islands, crystal-clear water, and that non-stop wind you dream about. We’re kiting from dawn till dusk, fueled by a picnic lunch and a pure adrenaline rush. This is where memories are made.

Day 6: All About You

This day’s YOURS to own. After morning yoga, let’s dive into fine-tuning your style and hitting those personal kiteboarding goals. Free ride in the afternoon or just soak in the peaceful vibes of the island – it’s your choice, it’s your flow.

Day 7: One Last Epic Ride

Wow, it’s the last day! But we’re going out with a bang. Start with a good morning yoga flow to get grounded, then we’re hitting the water for a final coaching sesh to polish up your skills. A boat trip to the last epic spot and a farewell dinner to seal the deal – no better way to say goodbye.

It’s time to bounce, but those memories? They’re gonna last a lifetime. One last breakfast at the posada, pack up that stoke, and hop on the flight back to Caracas. Until next time, Los Roques – you were pure magic.

Oman Coast Downwind Tour - Kitesurf the Arabian Trade Winds

  • What can I expect on this expedition?

    You can expect many things that include riding and exploring kitesurfing in the most remote places on the Omani Coast with expert kitesurfing leaders. Visit the pink lake, explore marine life and refresh yourself with the breeze of ancient trade winds. Feel the freedom of kitesurfing with dolphins and greetings by the turtles on the beach. We ride everyday along the coast of Oman, connect with Omani fishermen when we are back on the beach, and stay at the best resorts. During this Kite trip, you will discover an uncountable amount of kite spots in the east of Oman. We kiteboard, enjoying the waves and the sun. We stay a few days in the resorts to be more relaxing with packing and moving to the next destination.

  • How many kilometers on average will I kitesurf per day?

    The average distance covered per day is around 50 km. With a rest stop every 20 kilometers approximately.

  • What if I get tired and cannot continue the tour?

    Our 4x4s will support you and be near the shore throughout the tour, you may stop to rest at any time, and be transported in the vehicles to keep up with the tour, once you catch your breath, you’ll be able to rejoin the tour.

  • What do we do if there is no wind?

    There is a surprise activity that can be arranged on windless days like a beautiful hike and swimming in a beautiful wadi.

  • Can I join this tour as a kitesurf beginner?

    The Oman coast downwind tour is aimed at riders with at least an intermediate level and with experience and skills that must include riding comfortably in wavy conditions and the ability to ride toeside. for further questions regarding your skill level contact us and our experts will guide you.

  • What equipment is required to bring to the downwind?

    It is vital to bring three kites in good condition neatly packed in a golf bag. The kite sizes should range between 6 to 12 meters. Maximum two boards per rider, (we recommend a twin-tip and a surfboard). It is also vital to bring two bars that match the kite you are using and a harness that is in good condition. We also recommend bringing a comfortable life jacket as well. Our 4x4s will carry the extra equipment by the shore so that you may have constant access to the gear and support.

  • What about luggage size?

    This tour is very logistically complex since our customers will come with their kite equipment as well. It is recommended to pack your kite equipment in a golf bag and to bring a cabin-sized suitcase for personal belongings. The recommended dimensions are mentioned in the table below.

    Most of our trips are guaranteed to run with just six people booked on a tour. An additional supplement may be required to run the tour if the minimum number of guests is not met.   • Are non-kiters welcome on Kite trips?

    Of course! Travelers with companions who prefer not to kite can still experience our favorite destinations in Wake Up style. The price of our tours typically includes accommodation, meals, and activities beyond kiting; our price per person is the same for kiters and non-kiters.
